The standard
Safety
AI is a useful tool for shooters. It can explain a term, sort your notes, and help you plan. The rules you already trust still come first.
What AI is for
Use it to learn and to get organized. Ask it to restate something in plain language, turn a rough note into a list, or help you write a better question. You decide what to do with the answer.
What it does not replace
A model is not a substitute for any of these:
- Established firearm safety rules.
- Manufacturer guidance for your firearm and gear.
- Published load data for the exact components you are using.
- The laws where you live and where you shoot.
- Qualified instruction when you want training.
Verify the output
Check what a model tells you, especially reloading data and anything that affects safety. If it states a charge, a clearance, or a legal rule, find that claim in a current printed source before you use it. If you cannot find it there, do not use it.
ShootersProof will not publish load recipes. Articles may talk about how to keep notes and how to read a manual you already own. They will not replace that manual.
